More time to question teenager over shooting
Police have been granted extra time to question a 17-year-old boy in connection with a shooting in Easton at the weekend.
A 34-year-old man was shot in the shoulder outside the Jolly Roger pub on All Hallows Road at about 2am on Saturday morning. He is recovering from a broken shoulder in hospital. His injuries are not life-threatening.
A 15-year-old boy and and a 29-year-old man have been released by police on bail after being arrested along with the 17-year-old on Sunday.

A car wanted in connection with the incident has now been recovered in Montpelier following an appeal by Avon and Somerset Police.
At Bristol Magistrates’ Court on Monday morning, police we were given an additional 12 hours to question the 17-year-old who remains in custody.
Saturday’s incident was the second shooting to have taken place at the Jolly Roger in less than a year.
Police are continuing their search for witnesses. They are asking anyone who was at the Jolly Roger pub in Easton on Friday night or the early hours of Saturday morning and saw any part of the incident to call 101 and quote reference 5216075302.
