Off-duty doctor saves man assaulted at 24-hr shop

An off-duty doctor and nurse performed emergency CPR on a 27-year-old man who was attacked by a group of men outside a 24-hour shop on Stokes Croft.

The victim is still fighting for his life in Bristol Royal Infirmary after the assault at 3.30am on Saturday outside The Best supermarket.

Police have released CCTV images of three men wanted in connection with the assault.
