Cabot Circus shops smashed in ram-raid

Ram-raiders used a stolen white Jaguar to reverse into luxury shops in Cabot Circus before making off through Old Market.

Police have launched an appeal for information after Kuoni and Garment Quarter, in Penn Street, were robbed of a “large quantity” of clothing, handbags and accessories at 2am on Wednesday morning.

“We believe three men got out of the car and went into the clothes store, stealing a large quantity of clothing, handbags and accessories,” a spokesperson said.

“The car, which is believed to have been stolen, then made off towards Old Market.”

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the incident, or saw a car matching the description in the local area, to call Bristol Investigations on 101 and quote log number 58038/15.
