By Bristol24/7  Wednesday May 27, 2015

Police are appealing for help to find a mother and her child who failed to turn up to an appointment in Bristol.

Rebecca Minnock, 35, and her son Ethan, three, from Highbridge, have not been seen since Tuesday in the Musgrove Park Hospital area, Taunton.

Rebecca, also known as Becky, was due to attend an appointment in Bristol on Wednesday at 9am but didn’t turn up.

Police said concern is growing for the welfare and whereabouts of her and her three-year-old son.

Becky is described as a white woman, about 5ft 3ins tall of medium build. She has dark wavy shoulder length hair. It is not known what she was wearing when she went missing.

Ethan is a white boy, three-years-old of small build with blond or fair hair and blue eyes.

A police spokesperson said: “Becky does not drive and regularly uses public transport so we would urge anyone who uses public transport to keep a lookout for Becky and her son.

“We would like Becky or anyone who has been contacted by her or has seen her and son Ethan, to contact us, to confirm she is alright.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Somerset Investigations on the force number 101, quoting reference MP2189/15/.
