First images of new trains to serve Bristol
Images of the interior of new trains set to cut travel times from Bristol to London by more than 20 minutes have been released for the first time.
Rolling stock of the new Hitachi Class 800 trains which will be used on the Great Western Main Line started arriving in the Uk earlier this year ready for launch in 2017.
Services between Bristol and London will eventually be increased to four every hour, while journey times will be cut to 78 minutes.

The trains will come into operation with the opening of a newly-electrified rail line from South Wales to London.
The stock will also be kept and maintained in the new £80 million Filton Triangle rail depot, near Bristol Parkway, set to be completed this year.

Hitachi were chosen to manufacture the new generation of intercity trains as part of a £4.5 billion deal with the Government, signed in 2012.
Bristol Temple Meads is also set for an upgrade to accommodate the new trains, with two new platforms and a new entrance planned for the Engine Shed.
The trains, which will have increased capacity and will be able to reach higher speeds with quicker acceleration, are being fitted out in the North East of England.
