M32 closure explained

We all knew this day would come. But now it’s almost here, you can pretty much taste the horror in the air.

Yes, that’s right folks, the M32 will CLOSE this weekend for the building of a new bridge. And here is everything you need to know:

First things first. Engineers are placing a new bridge over the M32 to accommodate the new MetroBus segregated bus route which (it is hoped) will cut journey times. The bridge will go here:

To do this it has been decided that it might be sensible to get the traffic off the roads during these times:

There will also be an increased frequency of Park & Ride services from these locations:

But remember folks, people fought hard to stop this bridge being built in the first place:

But it will apparently be worth it when we get buses which go here:
