Video: How Bristol is divided by Brexit

Hartcliffe and Ashley; they couldn’t be more different. But never has that been more obvious than through the Brexit vote.

Ashley – the city council ward containing Montpelier, St Andrew’s and St Werburgh’s – topped the list for the highest proportion of people to vote Remain in the EU referendum, while Hartcliffe & Withywood ward had the highest number of Leave voters.

After analysing the full results, we spent a morning in both wards to gauge the differences of opinion. Recorded on a mobile phone, here’s what people said:
