Bristol24/7 shortlisted in Future Leap’s Sustainable Business Awards
Bristol24/7 has been shortlisted in the Communicating the Climate and Ecological Emergency category at Future Leap’s Sustainable Business Awards.
The awards “celebrate businesses that are standing out as leaders in sustainability and are recognised for their contributions towards people, profit and the planet”.
The Communicating the Climate and Ecological Emergency category – sponsored by Rin Hamburgh & Co – focuses on organisations that have “effectively used (their) communications expertise to create impactful change for people and the planet”.
is needed now More than ever
Bristol24/7 is the first local media organisation to employ a dedicated Climate & Sustainability Editor, Ursula Billington, and we hope to inspire others to put climate at the top of the agenda.
Following an initial six-month pilot supported by NatWest, this crucial role is now funded by The Extra Mile as well as the support of Bristol24/7’s community and business members.
Future Leap’s Sustainable Business Awards – sponsored by Bristol City Leap – takes place on November 9 at The Bristol Hotel.
