Better Bristol is proud to run workshops with local creatives to help the people throughout the city learn new skills. Better Bristol has previously run three photography workshops with photographer Colin Moody and a silversmithing workshop with Kim Thomson.

Colin Moody took budding photographers, with tools ranging from phones to DSLRs around Easton and Bedminster.

Kim Thomson is an advocate for making silversmithing more accessible, as it’s a skill often seen as expensive and exclusive, and taught a group of jeweling enthusiasts how to make rings.

Better Bristol run workshops for the public, who pay for a ticket. The money raised from each workshop then goes towards running similar workshops for people who might not otherwise have access to them, as part of the Better Bristol initiative.
