Artist of the Month: Carol Peace
As you may well have noticed, we’re pretty big fans of the arts here at Bristol24/7, and we know our city is brimming with talent in every creative field you can think of.
Being a Community Interest Company, we’re passionate about doing all we can to support independent local artists and we’re always thinking about different ways we can promote and grow their audience through our print and online platforms.
So this month we’re delighted to launch our new Artist of the Month feature, in which we will profile the work of a different Bristol artist as well as offering readers the chance to buy a custom-made artwork exclusive to Bristol24/7 with 10 per cent of all sales going to a charity of the artist’s choice.
is needed now More than ever
To kick off this exciting project we’re delighted to feature Carol Peace, one of Bristol’s most inspiring and prolific sculptors.
Readers will be able to buy four of her iron-resin figures (cast from the clay sculptures pictured) made exclusively for Bristol24/7 here.
The work is her response to Bristol’s ever-changing character. These will be editions of 120 and can be bought individually, in pairs, or as a set of four. You can click on the images below to purchase.

Carol’s charity of choice is St Mungo’s Broadway, who provide Bristol’s vulnerable and homeless people with hostel accommodation, support and a range of health and recovery services.
This feature will focus on both up-and-coming and established artists in the future; so if you think you fit the bill, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Artist of the month returns in February with Clare Cutts.
