Arts trail to take place in new area for first time
An arts trail is to take place in the BS4 area for the first time to raise awareness of the “incredible” local creative community.
More than 75 artists in Knowle, Brislington and St Anne’s are set to take part in the BS4 Arts Trail on June 24 and 25, opening their homes and studios.
Artists will also be exhibiting their work at four community spaces: St Anne’s House, Holymead Hub, St Cuthbert’s Church and Jubilee Pool.
is needed now More than ever
There will be food and drink hotspots to stop off at and free workshops for all the family.
Wellbeing and movement creatives will also take part in the trail as well as artists and makers – running activities including kids yoga, maternal journalling, pilates, baby massage and more.

The trail has been organised by Naomi Evans – who runs the These Two Hands gift shop on Sandy Park Road in Brislington – with support from glass artist, Jess Corbett, and illustrator, Becca Thorne.
Naomi said: “I wanted to start our very own BS4 arts trail to help raise awareness of all the brilliant creatives in this part of Bristol as we are one of the few postcodes not to have one.
“I am so excited to be going ahead this year and I hope it will be the first of many BS4 arts trails!”
She added: “It’s a great opportunity to take a stroll through the area and discover local artists in their natural environments, from custom studios to kitchen tables. To buy direct from artists and see work outside of a gallery setting. To discover a fairly hidden gem of Bristol with incredible green spaces and a wonderful creative community.”
The BS4 Arts Trail will take place across the weekend of June 24 and 25. For more information and a map, visit www.bs4artstrail.co.uk/
