Creative lockdown: Catherine Knight
Catherine Knight is part of the ongoing Bristol24/7 Creative Lockdown series, showcasing how people in Bristol have been getting arty under lockdown.
Catherine Knight, a painter working in oils and watercolours, is normally based at Bedminster’s BV Studios.
Since the beginning of lockdown, Catherine has been getting people from across the world to sent photos of their windows in isolation.

The artist has been creating gouache paintings using the photos, saying: “It allows me to visit other people’s houses, other countries, other continents, albeit in my imagination, and ponder our shared global experience.”
