Creative lockdown: Diff
Diff is part of the ongoing Bristol24/7 Creative Lockdown series, showcasing how people in Bristol have been getting arty under lockdown.
Bedminster-based street artist Diff has responded to the Covid-19 pandemic by altering an elderly people road sign.
The artist designed and created the sign, depicting two people in face masks on jet skis, and the attached it to a lamp post opposite the SS Great Britain.
is needed now More than ever
“I created the piece just after the Government announced the lock down of the over 70s,” says Diff, who imagined the nation’s older generation riding jet skis away from the pandemic.
“I put it up the week before the lockdown,” says Diff. “I’m currently locked in my studio creating new pieces to try and bring a smile to people faces in these troubled times.”
