Open call for moving image, film, performance and zine artists
Trinity-based artists’ collective east bristol contemporary is inviting submissions from artists working in moving image, film, performance and zines/editions, for its next screening event on Friday, December 7, run in collaboration with the BF artist film festival.
The collective are looking for works of length under 30 minutes in duration, to contribute to a screening programme. Works under ten minutes will be more likely to make the programme.
“We welcome single-channel film and video works from within the fields of artists’ moving image and media art, short narrative films, documentaries, experimental and essay films, animation and video collage,” ebc explain. There are no restrictions on theme, date or premiere status.” Films will be selected by ebc and the BF artist film festival.

The collective are also looking for performance artists, both for the screening event itself and to inform future events at ebc by including more performance work. Finally, ebc are also seeking artists who work with zines / prints / edition / clothing etcetera, for an opportunity to sell their work from table stalls at the event.
