Finalists announced in Proper Bristol postcard competition

By Bristol24/7  Thursday Nov 29, 2018

From pigeons to demonstrations, graffiti-strewn phone boxes to incongruously-positioned sofas, the finalists in the Proper Bristol postcard competition have fulfilled the brief to show the city away from the Clifton Suspension Bridge and hot air balloons.

“The quality and depth of the competition entries was breathtaking,” said People’s Republic of Stokes Croft (PRSC) events manager Lisa Furness.

“370 pictures were submitted offering witty, beautiful, angry and affectionate responses to the city. Together they make a striking self portrait of Bristol by Bristol.”
