The Festival of Light illuminates Roald Dahl’s unforgettable worlds, bringing visitors into the heart of his stories.
A winding road takes you on a journey through each of his iconic classics, from the land of the BFG, into Wonka’s famous chocolate factory, all the way to the depths of Miss Trunchbull’s chokey.

The Wondrous Worlds of Roald Dahl captures the spirit of these enchanting yet frightening tales, with hundreds of lanterns bringing his most-loved (and most-hated) characters to life.
Each lightscape blends the real with the Roald, James’ giant peach reflects upon a rippling moat, Giants tower above trees and oompa loompas nestle into bushes as if painted across Longleat’s lush landscape.
