Art / Artist of the Month

Watch a macabre artwork come together

By Bristol24/7  Monday Oct 31, 2016

Our Artist of the Month for October, Mr Mead, has been doing one print per day for Inktober – and to celebrate his final piece, the BBC are filming him live.

Mr Mead, or Tom Mead, specialises in dark, surrealist character pieces. Much of his work explores the macabre, his creatures existing in a twisted reality – the perfect subjects for a Halloween live stream for BBC Trending.

The original Moondog which was exclusively available in our online shop for a special price of £270, a huge discount from the usual £350 has now sold but a few of the very limited edition prints are still available for £45. There are now only three of the original run of 15 available, and a particularly special opportunity as Tom doesn’t usually work with prints and has made these exclusively for this offer with Bristol24/7.
