Upcoming artists given the opportunity to decorate The Vestibules

By Louise Knight  Wednesday Jun 27, 2018

From October 21 to 23, Bristol will be hosting The Global Parliament of Mayors Annual Summit 2018, and in celebration an early career artist will be given the chance to develop new work to be exhibited at the event.

In a resident opportunity created by Artspace Lifespace and Bristol City Council‘s Arts and Events team, an artist will be able to create a public facing exhibition that will be displayed at The Vestibules in City Hall, and will have use of the two Vestibules between October 15 and 23.

The artist’s work will be displayed in The Vestibules

As part of the residency, the artist will also receive a bursary of £2,800 to support their time, cost of materials and other expenses, and will be provided with a paid mentor to support their exhibition development.
