Postcard competition aims to show the ‘proper’ Bristol
“No more bridge. Easy on the balloons.” These are two of the criteria in a photography competition running until the end of October which aims to show sides of Bristol away from the Instagram cliches.
The competition, Proper Bristol, is asking for people to help create a new series of postcards depicting the best and worst of our city.
“Images have come in from all over the city revealing a diversity of perspective and showing us a new vision of Bristol with the overlooked and marginal brought into centre stage,” says Colin Moody, who is organising the competition with the People’s Republic of Stokes Croft.
