New print club launches in Spike Island

By Lou Trimby  Friday Mar 13, 2015

Print Club Bristol launched at Spike Island at a busy and buzzy event full of artists, printmakers and art enthusiasts and buyers eager to see what the new initiative could offer them.

The club promotes prints created at Spike Print studio by its studio members, residency and invited artists.  Print Club Bristol was created by the studio director of Spike Print Studio Irena Czapska and is supported by the director and curator of the Smithson Gallery, Anna Smithson.

Anyone can become a member of Print Club Bristol, the overarching aims of the club are to encourage its members to begin collecting prints as much as for the pleasure they give as for the investment potential and ultimately to encourage the public to fall in love with original print.
