RWA’s Drawn 2017 is open for submissions

Submissions are open now for the 2017 instalment of the Royal West of England Academy’s biennial open-submissions exhibition Drawn

Entries are welcome from painters, sculptors, printmakers, designers, typographers, architects, film makers and illustrators who use drawing as a key part of their creative process.

Artists of all ages and experience are invited to submit: entries must be no more than three years old and must be for sale. All entries are subject to selection and a fee for entry applies.

The selection panel for this year’s Drawn (the 2015 exhibition is pictured above) includes Martin Clayton, Head of Prints and Drawings at the Royal Collection; Johanna Baring, Curator of the Ingram Collection of Modern British and Contemporary Art; and RWA Academicians Peter Randall-Page RA RWA, Sarah Gillespie RWA and Lawrence Nash.

Submissions will run until Wednesday March 15 at 5pm (with the exception of film and moving image works which must be submitted Friday March 10 at 5pm).
