A bird’s eye view of Bristol

See the city from above in this amazing new aerial timelapse video by photographer and filmmaker Jamie Brightmore, who has taken to the sky to capture what looks like high-res satellite images of fields, quarries and Bristol landmarks:

Developing his latest technique, which he calls satlapse, over the last eight months, Brightmore has used a drone and his trusty Go Pro to snap hundreds of still images 400 metres above ground, resulting in a mesmerising look at the hustle and bustle of Bristol’s daily life.

His previous work includes a timelapse of the Gromit and Shaun trails and the beautiful Welcome to Bristol, which took him more than a year to complete:
