M Shed explores the big environmental questions in its Think Global: Act Bristol exhibition
Bristol has declared a state of both climate and ecological emergency.
A new exhibition at M Shed seeks to explore not only how we got there, but how we can move on into a sustainable, equitable, and green future.
Think Global: Act Bristol is designed to help visitors to see the huge environmental issues we face as a planet, through a local lens.
is needed now More than ever

Organisers say: “Whether you’re an activist, a scientist, or just feeling anxious and overwhelmed by it all, we hope you will leave feeling more confident in your power to make change”.
The collection is comprised of historical objects used to help further understanding of how Bristol’s industry and growth has exacerbated the effects of climate change, as well as art pieces to visualise invisible deleterious effects, and possible methods to combat them.

Discussion from experts and members of the community forms a vital component of the exhibition, and input from visitors is hugely encouraged.
A Propagator Space will bring together like-minded people, where actions can be disseminated and people can contribute to the vision of a Bristol, and a world, that collectively, we can help to shape.
