Stokes Croft: Seven years in six minutes
This six-minute short film takes us through the streets of Stokes Croft, showcasing the ebbs and flows of Bristol’s street art scene over the last seven years.
Created by a YouTube filmmaker who goes by the name Weirdoldhattie, Stokes Croft: Seven Years in Six Minutes exhibits hundreds of pieces of street art and graffiti that have come and gone since 2008.
Including everything from political slogans to marriage proposals, the time-lapse technique allows us to see the evolution of the artistic landmarks of Bristol, including the ever-changing City Road mural and the eclectic colour-fest that is Hepburn Road.
