Street artist My Dog Sighs hosts talk and book signing at Loco Klub
If you’ve been to any of Bristol’s Upfests of yesteryear, then you’ll surely not have missed the regular paintings of ginormous, vibrant, detailed eyes, surrounded by an explosion of various colours and patterns. Or maybe its the somewhat comedic, yet at the same time melancholic stick figures, sometimes standing 20 feet tall up the side of a building, that caught your eye. Either way, any Bristol street art enthusiast is familiar with the work of My Dog Sighs.
Depending on your level of familiarity with My Dog and his work, you might be aware that, at the tail end of last year, he released a photobook, detailing the works and creative process of his recent, incredibly successful exhibition: “INSIDE: We Shelter Here Sometimes.”

“INSIDE” was held over 16 days, and attracted over 10,000 visitors | Photo: My Dog Sighs
Now, he returns to Bristol as he tours the new book countrywide. And what better venue to host such an event than the one under the train station – Loco Klub. He’ll be giving a talk on the 2nd of March, and will be going over his creative process, both in general and in terms of the creation and execution of his recent exhibition. He’ll then be taking open questions from audience members.
is needed now More than ever
The book will, of course, be on sale on the evening, and if you have your own copy you’re welcome to bring it along to get it signed. The £5 ticket price also includes an official signed My Dog Sighs poster, and as if that’s not enough, the £5 will be deducted from the book price if you decide to purchase one on the night.
