Upfest’s North Street shop gets a makeover
With less than two months to go until this year’s Upfest takes over the streets of Bedminster, the Upfest shopfront on North Street has been given a lick of paint by official festival artist Gemma Compton.
The blue and white piece, painted in a similar style to traditional work on porcelain, features birds which have long been a feature of her work and which also feature in this year’s Upfest logo.

Upfest is Europe’s largest graffiti festival. Between July 23-25, more than 300 artists will be painting more than two dozen venues across Bedminster and Southville.
