23 Books and Spoken Word events to see in Bristol in November 2019

Lit Fest fever continues this month with the final weekend of the Storytale children’s festival, the inaugural Clifton Literature Festival, and Festival of Ideas’ three-day Economics season.

Elsewhere, Daljit Nagra, Salena Godden, Jess Green, Caroline Teague and Humble the Poet bring their poetry and spoken word brilliance to Bristol, plus the third Lyrically Justified anthology from Urban Word Collective will be launched at Waterstones in the Galleries.

Other highlights include Sandi Toksvig, Southville-based Stuart Newman and his fascinating protrayal of the UK using data and statistics, and environmental campaigner, Natalie Fee. Jane Duffus discusses the second volume of the very popular The Women Who Built Bristol with several events, and Watershed-based Rife Magazine introduce their dynamic essay collection, Rife: Twenty-One Stories from Britain’s Youth.
