Creative lockdown: Kiwani Dolean and Ben Stanton

By Lowie Trevena  Wednesday Apr 22, 2020

Kiwani Dolean and Ben Stanton are part of the ongoing Bristol24/7 Creative Lockdown series, showcasing how people in Bristol have been getting arty under lockdown.

Kiwana Dolean, an illustrator, and Ben Stanton, a creative, have come together to create stories for people to read during the coronavirus pandemic.

Unseen Tiny Tales is an illustrated story for children and adults, focusing on mental wellbeing.

“Our aim was to touch upon the complex feelings from isolation and the loneliness as a result of the current circumstances,” Kiwani and Ben explain. “We hope to add a touch of hope to the day.”

The pair are hoping to create prints of the stories, with all proceeds going to the NHS charities’ Covid-19 appeals.
