Dr Who comic features monster attacking Bristol

The Clifton Suspension Bridge is under attack from a giant monster in a new Doctor Who comic book written by a Bristol author.

Doctor Who: The Ninth Doctor #7 by Cavan Scott follows the continued adventures of Christopher Eccleston’s incarnation of the Time Lord.

The new book sees the Doctor, Rose and Jack working with the UNIT team of the 1970s, with art by Cris Bolson and colours by Marco Lesko

Cavan Scott is a bestselling author and comic writer for both adults and children, who has written for series including Doctor Who, Star Wars, Angry Birds and Judge Dredd.

The former magazine editor has also written for both The Beano and The Dandy.

Doctor Who: The Ninth Doctor #7 is available to buy from Forbidden Planet on the Clifton Triangle and digitally via Comixology.
