Fundraiser launch for writing group
The North Bristol Writing Group (NBCWG), is launching a fundraising event, at this weekend’s BristolCon, to get their anthology North by Southwest published. The Fundsurfer is being used to gather the money required to typeset the book and print the physical copies.
In this Bristolian collaboration, the BristolCon foundation is providing their support, Tangent Press are helping with publishing and local author Joanne Hall, (editor of Airship Shape and Bristol Fashion) is providing her editing expertise.
The 10 stories are illustrated by local artist Claire M Hutt and the anthology, when funded, will feature the words of Margaret Carruthers, Roz Clarke, Clare Dornan, Desiree Fischer, John Haws-Reed, Kevlin Henney, Jemma Milburn, Ian Millsted, Justin Newland and Pete Sutton. The NBCWG is open to anyone of any level of expertise who would like to attend.
