Level Up poetry project open for applications
Level Up, a collaboration between Milk Poetry and Blahblahblah, is inviting applications from Bristol poets aged between 16 and 25 for a new initiative.
Five poets will be selected to take part in five coaching sessions run by “specialist creative professionals, honing essential skills in the spoken word poet’s toolbox.” There will be a performance event at the end of the course.
is needed now More than ever
The Level Up course aims to support those selected with creating new work, developing writing and performance skills and the tricky task of self-promotion.”We’ll also give you insider information on how to build a career, and send you out into the world with the confidence to continue smashing your creative goals.”
The five participants will get the chance to share their work in a showcase at Bristol Old Vic and may also be selected to perform at Milk Poetry in the future.
The deadline for applications is 12 noon on March 5. Any enquiries should be emailed to info@milkpoetry.com
