Where to buy Go Set A Watchman in Bristol
Go Set A Watchman, the sequel to Harper Lee’s only other book To Kill A Mockingbird, is released in Bristol and across the world on Tuesday July 14. During the five months between the book’s announcement and the release date, there has been much curiosity and worry about how the ‘new’ script had come to be found. There was even an investigation of elder abuse against Harper Lee who allegedly for the last few years only had contact with the outside world through her lawyer.
The first part of the publication excitement started with the early release of the first chapter of Go Set A Watchman with The Guardian publishing it in the UK.

The title for Go Set A Watchman comes from Isaiah 21:6: “For thus hath the Lord said unto me, Go, set a watchman, let him declare what he seeth.” It alludes to Scout’s view of her father, Atticus Finch, as the moral compass – the watchman – of Maycomb.
