Invisible Circus to present first online showcase

By Martin Booth  Tuesday May 5, 2020

They have put on shows in a former cathedral and fire station, in railway arches and at Glastonbury Festival.

Noe the Invisible Circus are moving their performances online due to the coronavirus pandemic and are inviting the global circus community to come together and create something special, virtually.

“In these strange times we are all turning to various outlets to immerse ourselves in different worlds and experiences,” the Invisible Circus team said in a statement.

“The Invisible Circus has always been a place for all disciplines within the circus community to come together and create something special and we want to continue doing so, virtually.”

The first online showcase will take place on Thursday at 6pm on the Invisible Circus’ Twitch channel, with acts ranging from aerial hoop to clowning.

Shows will be free to watch but a digital tip jar will ensure that any money raised will go directly to the acts performing.
