Disused former club to come back to life for Stokes Croft Block Party

By Martin Booth  Saturday May 14, 2022

A last-minute addition to the Stokes Croft Block Party sees an all-female stage at a well-known club from the 1990s which has lain empty for eight years.

Lakota and RedOak Property have joined forces to donate the space to Lady of the House for Saturday’s 14-hour party which will see more than ten venues joining forces.

The summer celebration will see special guest headliners and event brands bringing a plethora of musical talent spanning jungle, garage, bassline, house, bashment and more.

The former Clockwork on Moon Street will be called ‘Rave Yard’ for the Stokes Croft Block Party.

Expect house, techno, disco, drum’n’bass and more from a Red Bull Truck style stage filled with artwork, as well as local and national DJs.

Taking place from 2pm on Saturday to 4am on Sunday morning, the Stokes Croft Block Party promises to be the biggest party to ever hit Stokes Croft.

One wristband allows guests entry into all of the participating venues which include:

  • Lakota
  • Lakota Gardens
  • The Oasis
  • Coroner’s Court
  • Love Inn
  • Full Moon
  • Attic Bar
  • The Social
  • Pipe &Slippers
  • No.51
  • The Bell

A donation from the profits will be given to St Mungo’s, One25 and Caring in Bristol.
