The huge Bristol night celebrating 15 years
This year, Alfresco Disco turned 15 years old.
From the free parties, where you would have to call a number and follow directions into the woods, to a huge licenced night that recently celebrated its anniversary in the basement of the Galleries – the night may have evolved but has retained the same atmosphere and energy.
Speaking on Bristol24/7’s Behind The Headlines podcast, organiser Tom Hodgeson says the post-lockdown party held in the Galleries’ basement was the best night Alfresco Disco has experienced yet.
is needed now More than ever
“It was years in the making. Not only was it the best space we’ve ever found but the excitement was so clear on everyone’s faces. It felt emotional watching everyone descend down the ramp.”
The night was a huge success and also raised a total of £10,000 for local charities, the Creative Youth Network and Empire Fighting Chance.
Following a long year and a half in lockdown, the team behind Alfresco Disco are excited to ramp up the events across Bristol.
