The festival’s programmer Will Briggs says: “We’re thrilled with the line-up this year and it’s an honour to have so many of my favourite acts appearing. We put a lot of time and energy into trying to get the line-up of each show just right, we want to introduce our audiences to new acts as well as the ones they already love.”

The much-loved Comedy Garden formula – street food, craft beers and more, all gathered around the all-seater Big Top in Queen Square – returns unchanged
Now in its eighth year, Bristol Comedy Garden pairs award-winning comedy in the seated Big Top with delicious street food, craft beers, cocktails and more, all set in a fun and relaxed festival atmosphere in the leafy surroundings of Queen Square. The festival draws thousands of comedy-lovers from Bristol and beyond each year, and 2019 should be one of the best yet.
