Pride Week & Comedy Garden coming to Bristol

The first week of July will see the arrival of two major summer events – Bristol Comedy Garden in Queen Square and the Bristol Pride festival.

Bristol Comedy Garden is happening in a big top between July 3 and 6, featuring headliners such as Adam Buxton, Mark Watson, Omid Djalili and Issy Suttie.

There will also be food stalls, drink from Bristol Cider Shop and a silent disco on Friday and Saturday nights.

Bristol Pride week will run from July 5 to 14, with events ranging from film, sports, talks, theatre, comedy and performance to showcase LGBT performers, groups and causes in venues across the city.

The Pride Day festival takes place on July 13 in Castle Park, with acts already confirmed including Ruth Lorenzo and MC Mikee, with more due to be announced.

The event will also offer a dedicated family play area, community zone, food and market stalls, silent disco dance area as well as a cabaret stage; with the party continuing into the night.
