Stand-up comedy event returns to Bristol Zoo
Stand-up comedy returns to Bristol Zoo for a third summer with tickets now on sale for the zoo’s Giggle event on Sunday, July 31.
Giggle, a comedy night featuring all-star performers, will raise money for conservation projects around the world. Tickets start from £20, with 100 per cent of ticket sales going to charity.
The official line-up for the event has yet to be announced. Previous Giggle gigs have featured comedians Russell Howard, Adam Hills, Sally-Anne Haywood and John Richardson.

Local television warm-up artist and stand-up comedian Mark Olver will return to MC the event.
“I love the Giggle event,” says Olver. “I love the set-up of the stage and the audience and the tent. It is brilliant to raise money for such a great cause in a way that doesn’t feel like work.”
The comedians will perform on a large marquee at the heart of the zoo.
“Our unique location makes this a comedy night like no other,” says Bristol Zoo representative Wendy Walton. “Guests can explore the zoo grounds after closing time and then settle down on our main lawn under a large undercover canopy to watch some of the best comedians around. It’s sure to be another fantastic event and we are really looking forward to it.”
