Comedy / The Lazy Dog
Unseen Lazy Dog shows streamed online
Bristol’s brilliant comedy session How Lazy Is He?, based at The Lazy Dog on Ashley Down Road, is to one-off stream three previously unseen specials performed at the venue.
The shows will be streamed from Thursday, March 26, adding to Bristol comedy lovers’ entertainment options during the coronavirus lockdown – and raising badly needed funds for the sessions and comedians into the bargain.
The three specials, all filmed at The Lazy Dog, have never been released. Host Tony Chiotti will now be streaming the shows, each one once only, on the How Lazy Is He? Facebook page and on his own Twitch page.

We begin with a special show by the splendidly surreal Frank Foucault (pictured top), who performed his latest solo show Shoes at The Lazy Dog back in February 2019. Subsequent shows will be Laura Monmoths’s LGBTQZX (screening Thursday, April 2) and Tony Chiotti’s Comedy Regular, screening Thursday, April 9.
Tony will also live-host the streaming sessions, cutting back and forth to the show itself. You can buy ‘tickets’ to each streaming via Facebook and Tony’s own website, Cat’s Away Comedy. He’ll be splitting donations with the acts, aiming to help both comedians and smaller comedy sessions survive during this hugely challenging time for all performers and promoters.
