Win tickets to Slapstick’s Silent Comedy Gala

By Bristol24/7  Monday Jan 5, 2015

The Silent Comedy Gala is the apex of Bristol’s annual Slapstick Festival – and we’ve got one pair of tickets to give away to the event at Colston Hall on Friday, January 23 at 7.30pm.

Hosted by Chris Addison (Mock The Week, The Thick of It), the evening will feature back-to-back screenings of Buster Keaton’s Seven Chances (1925), Chaplin’s The Immigrant (1917), and Laurel and Hardy’s Big Business (1929).

Live musical accompaniment comes from Bristol Ensemble, world-renowned European Silent Screen Virtuosi, and prog-rock god, grumpy old man and piano virtuoso, Rick Wakeman.
