Ghetto Funk to celebrate 10 year anniversary

By Amy Grace  Thursday Jan 16, 2020

Local record label Ghetto Funk are celebrating a milestone, after 10 years in the biz they’re pulling out all the stops and hosting a party to remember. The filthy funkers will be hosting their very own party at Somerset’s most loved festival, Shindig. The entire festival began as one big party for the friends of the Ghetto Funk label, it’s now its own boutique festival.

It will be held in the Ghetto Funk nightclub at the festival, get your flares at the ready – along with sensible footwear – to boogie the night away to their disco beats.

Hosted by Profit, Natty Speaks and Kathika and Kurnel MC, the glittering line-up will feature Chali 2NA and Krafty Kuts; Stanton Warriors and Dread MC; A Skillz; Stickybuds, Ed Solo and JFB; Too Many T’s; Featurecast; Slynk, WBBL and Father Funk; Funk Ferret; Shaka Loves You; Howla; DJP, Roast Beatz; B-side and Detta; X-Ray Ted, Sammy Senior and the Hong Kong Ping Pong Club. It wouldn’t be a true celebration if there wasn’t a whopping line-up involved.
