No change at the top again, as Barbie closes on £80m and is close to overtaking Star Wars: The Last Jedi to claim 10th place in the UK all-time chart. Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer continues to hold up strongly and could yet overtake Dunkirk‘s £57m to become his biggest hit. Sports drama Gran Turismo: Based on a True Story was the highest new entry, but couldn’t dislodge Meg 2: The Trench, which held steady in third place. Disney’s latest adaptation of its theme park attraction Haunted Mansion is at number five, but failed to reach the £1m mark in its first weekend on release. Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One remains on course to become the biggest hit of the impossible missioning franchise. But it’s farewell to flopbuster Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, which dropped out of the chart having clocked up less than half the total takings of its much-derided predecessor Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
