Festive horror Violent Night was the only new release to chart this week as family flick Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever continue to dominate, with the latter on the verge of reaching £30m. Harvey Weinstein drama She Said slipped out of the top five after just one week, mirroring its poor performance in the US, while potential awards contenders Aftersun and The Banshees of Inisherin both returned to the chart after dropping out last week. Don’t expect much change before December 16, when Avatar: The Way of Water pitches up to save cinema (allegedly).
