Video game adaptation Uncharted enjoyed a strong £4.7m opening to seize the top spot from Sing 2 at the weekend. Below those two, Ken Branagh’s Death on the Nile opened just ahead of Ken Branagh’s Belfast. The latter took more than £1m for its fourth successive week at it powered over the £10m mark. But at a time when the box office is enjoying a strong recovery, Branagh’s much-delayed latest slice of Agatha Christie cinematic comfort food opened significantly down on its predecessor, Murder on the Orient Express. Mandatory Valentine’s Day romcom Marry Me did pretty well in – surprise! – the run up to Valentine’s Day, but seems likely to fade fast. And Spider-Man: No Way Home is finally beginning to flag, taking less than £1m for the first time in nine weeks, but is still in with a chance of eclipsing Avatar to claim a place in the UK all-time top five.
