It’s a fourth week at the top for Avatar: The Way of Water, which has now reached $1.7 billion internationally – well within reach of its $2 billion break-even mark. The main challenger this week was Marc Forster’s A Man Called Otto – an English-language remake of the 2015 Swedish arthouse hit A Man Called Ove, with Tom Hanks in the title role. But Otto had to settle for fourth place behind Whitney and Matilda. Also breaking into the top five was chart regular Andre Rieu. The Dutch easy listening titan continues to delight his mature audience, this time with the event cinema recording of his first Dublin show in 20 years. The only other new entry in the top ten was Nigerian-American director Chinonye Chukwu’s award-winning true-life civil rights drama Till.
