The top five remained static this week, though it’s worth noting that Fast & Furious 9 clocked up £10m in just two weeks. A Quiet Place Part II also reached this milestone, though it took five weeks to do so. The post-lockdown target to beat remains Peter Rabbit 2‘s £17.5m. This one continues to scamper along in second place with virtually no decline in takings. The highest charting new release was horror comedy Freaky, which could only manage sixth place. At number nine, Another Round is actually doing remarkably well on a limited number of screens and is clearly the arthouse hit of the moment. Outside the top ten, the Idles documentary Don’t Go Gentle has now taken £11,000 from its event cinema release at 35 cinemas.
