Just a couple of weeks after it was shattered by Fast & Furious 9, the record for the biggest post-lockdown opening has been broken again by Black Widow. The Marvel flick took nearly £1m more than those petrolheads over the same period. In terms of total gross, the target to beat remains the £18m clocked up by Peter Rabbit 2 over eight weeks. Climbing back to fourth place, A Quiet Place II is on course to equal, or even exceed, the takings of the first film. This is a remarkable achievement given all those covid restrictions in place. At the foot of the chart, the boozy chums of Another Round remain the clear arthouse winners of the moment. Cheers!
