Taylor Swift’s record-breaking reign at the top of the chart proved to be short-lived as she was toppled by those annoying singing Trolls, whose third feature, Trolls Band Together, could yet prove to be the most successful in the franchise. Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon bagged second place to become the director’s third-biggest opener (behind The Wolf of Wall Street and Gangs of New York). The third new entry was Indian thriller Leo, which is poised to become the highest earning Tamil-language film of all time in the UK. But it isn’t all bad news for Ms. Swift. Having bagged the record for the highest grossing event cinema release of all time during its opening weekend, the The Eras Tour is now closing on Michael Jackson: This Is It to claim the mantle of the UK’s highest grossing concert film.
