Disney’s Agatha Christie spoof See How They Run enjoyed a second week at the top in what proved to be a quiet weekend at the cinema as the entire nation went into mourning for Her Maj (or so we’re reliably informed by every news outlet). The only new entry was Bowie flick Moonage Daydream, which won the battle of the music docs with Hallelujah: Leonard Cohen, A Journey, A Song. If its takings seem rather low, that’s not necessarily because of Bowie fatigue but because the film was showing exclusively in 50 IMAX cinemas. It gets a wider release this week. Elsewhere in the chart, Bullet Train returned to the top five and has now taken more than £10m after seven weeks on release, while Minions: The Rise of Gru hit £45m after 12 weeks, putting it just behind the first Minions film. And Bollywood fantasy Brahmastra Part 1: Shiva, which has become something of a global hit, is now within reach of £1m after two weeks on release.
