Bristol Bad Film Club unleashes torrent of crap (and some good stuff too) for 2019

There’s probably some kind of delicious irony in the fact that while some great films struggle to find an audience most of the events organised by the Bristol Bad Film Club sell out weeks in advance.

The Club’s April screening – absurd jigsaw puzzle-obsessed serial killer thriller Pieces (“You don’t have to go to Texas for a chainsaw massacre!”) – is a case in point. But BBFC founder Ti Singh has been busy booking plenty of other events between now and the end of June. And not all of them are, strictly speaking, bad. In our usual helpful fashion, we’ve corralled them below, so you can snaffle tickets before they’re all snapped up. Take your pick from stand-up performances by Jason Mewes (the potty-mouthed half of Jay and Silent Bob), a delusional directors double-bill, a celebration of Godzilla’s 65th anniversary and Steven Seagal’s Golden Raspberry-winning directorial debut. Follow the links for further info on each event as well as ticket details.
